We are probably a year away from doing a kitchen remodel but it doesn’t stop me from obsessively planning for it now! We are also still living out of plastic tubs so that keeps me dreaming of it finished. I know we are crazy! I figured it would be a year at the most that we would live this way but now it is looking closer to 2! 😁 I think it is really important that we do it right the first time and so… we “patiently” wait. But for now I dream and plan 😃

I am obsessed with moody dark walls right now so I’m leaning toward mixing that into some cabinetry like this one. My fav combos are deep navy/black, medium wood tones, matte whites, marble and camel leather.

I love this stacked subway tile and exhaust hood! This is similar to the tile we used in our bathrooms. Could be great to have the consistency throughout.

Where I am really getting stuck is in what metals I want to use for barstools, faucet and lighting. I am in love with brass right now but I hesitate because of price and if the trend will pass. Let me know your thoughts! We have brushed silver door handles and pulls throughout the house. What would you do? How about a mix? What do you think of matte black appliances?
